Terms and Conditions for Mallorca Catering. We always endeavour to make your day a special experience. We can assure you of our professional service on the day and a memorable celebration. Our 22-year reputation speaks for itself. Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests or questions not detailed here.
In the event, that you have a guest with allergies. Please inform us at least 21 days before the event. This enables us to provide alternative dishes for them. We can also mark meals that may cause an allergic reaction.
We cannot accept any responsibility for any adverse weather conditions at the event. In the event, that tents, covers, or shading are needed, you will receive a separate charge for the costs. We will ask for your written permission beforehand.
Force majeure applies in the case of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond our control.
Examples are war civil strike, riot, crime, epidemic, or an event described by the legal term act of God. Anything that prevents us from fulfilling our obligations under the agreement will mean suspension of our responsibility for the duration of the force majeure. You can reschedule the celebration under the same terms and conditions at a date agreed by both parties. Please note that if the celebration is relocated, additional charges could apply.
The quotation includes:
The quotation is subject to local taxes (IVA): 10% IVA (local tax). Please note that the quote does not include rentals or decorations like flowers, lighting, and entertainment. We calculate our costs based on electricity and water on-site. Should adequate power or water supply not be available, there will be an additional charge.
Payment conditions: To confirm the reservation for the date(s) requested. We need a non-refundable deposit based upon 30% of the quotation. As soon as we receive payment, we will send an email confirmation for the event. The event date(s) are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Mallorca Catering. We will inform you when the next 30% instalment is due. The final 40% payment is due 21 days before the event starts. Payments by bank transfer must include the name of the person booking and the date of the event.
We need confirmation of the final number of guests no later than 21 days before the event. When the final number of guests be less than the amount in the original quote, we reserve the right to charge a supplement to cover any shortfall.
We do not permit any third-party foods or drinks during the event.
Table set up includes:
Waiters/waitresses usually serve the canapés. We calculate at least two pieces of each kind of canapé per guest. Depending on the service required, we will calculate the number of waiters/waitress required. Our staff dresses appropriately for your event.

The quotation is for continuous service without interruptions. Should you require a more extended period for any part of your event. Please arrange this at the time of booking. Any extra time may result in an additional charge to cover extra staffing costs.
We use photographs taken at our events to market our business. It is important for us as most of our enquires come via the internet. These photographs usually show the set-up. Please note that some photos may include yourself and/or your guests. Please let us know before the event if you do not want us to use any of the photographs.
Normally, the equipment is set up at the venue the day before the celebration. The removal of the equipment starts the day after the event at 10 am. An additional charge may arise for any service outside of the agreed time. This charge includes same-day removal.
